NYC Health + Hospitals is the largest public health care system in the nation, serving more than one million New Yorkers annually in more than 70 patient care locations across the five boroughs. Our mission is to deliver high quality health services with compassion, dignity, and respect to all, regardless of income, gender identity, or immigration status. Our dedicated, compassionate, brave workforce of more than 42,000 are on the front lines caring for New Yorkers in Emergency Rooms, ICUs, community health centers and nursing homes. They are the Health Care Heroes leading us through this pandemic and caring for our patients and communities every single day.
