Almost 100 patients walked the runway to celebrate their improved physical health after a rigorous program that includes medical, psychiatric and nutritional screening prior to surgery.

The accreditation process reviews patient safety procedures, clinical data, and other rigorous bariatric surgical standards; the surgical program has been accredited since 2010

17 of its sites received Gold status, the highest recognition, from the American Heart Association

17 of the health system’s sites achieved Gold+ status, the highest possible recognition for blood pressure control
